Brigade Enterprises Limited
dedicates road
to residents of South Bangalore
With the completion of Brigade Millennium and Brigade Gardenia group housing enclaves in J.P. Nagar, Brigade Enterprises Limited took the initiative to strengthen the road infrastructure of the area, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. We have developed the further extension of 24th Main—which is 2.3 km long and 50 to 65 ft wide.
Brigade Enterprises Limited has invested Rs 300 lakh+ to construct the road as per Highway standards. In appreciation of our effort, the authorities concerned have named the new road "Brigade Millennium Road", for which we are grateful to them. Sri R. Ashok, Hon. Minister of Health and Family Welfare, MLA Uttarahalli Constituency inaugurated the road on 25 November 2006.
The new road will provide a smoother and faster access to anybody commuting to and from 7th and 8th Phase J.P. Nagar.

statue to city
Brigade Enterprises Limited has contributed a statue of the revered Swami Vivekananda to the Bangalore cityscape. Installed at the Ulsoor lake, the statue was unveiled on 4 November by the Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.

share Young Achiever 2007 award
The winners of the Young Achiever 2007 award, instituted by Rotary Bangalore Midtown & Brigade Group, were announced at a function held at the MLR Convention Centre, J. P. Nagar, on 26 October 2007. Chief Guest Mr Rajeev Chandrasekhar (Member of Parliament; Chairman & CEO, Jupiter Capitals Pvt. Ltd) presented trophies and citations to joint-winners Rehan Poncha and Team Ashwa. M.R. Jaishankar, CMD, Brigade Group, then presented each winner a cheque for Rs 50,000.
A citation and special mention award each of Rs 15,000 were given to Veena Basavarajaiah, Umesh B.N. and H.G. Chaitra.
The annual Young Achiever Award has been instituted to recognise and encourage the achievements of young people in professional, cultural, social or other specific areas of endeavour. The award is open to both individuals and teams, the only requirements being that applicants have to be below 25 years of age and residents of Karnataka.
