Brigade is a name instantly identified with Bangalore, the city in which it is headquartered. Brigade is known for its enlightened and futuristic outlook. In past years of operations in the area of property development-its flagship domain-Brigade has developed many landmark buildings.

Today, Brigade Enterprises Limited's (BEL) property development portfolio covers luxury apartments, integrated enclaves, state-of-the-art software and retail facilities, offices, serviced residences, clubs, resorts, spas, hotels and schools. Some of its projects that are currently underway include: two large enclaves in Bangalore, one of the city's tallest office buildings, a large mall with a multiplex, world-class hill resorts & spas, 5-star hotels, a hospital and two schools.

Integrated enclaves
Over the years, Brigade has set quality standards for luxury residential projects in Bangalore and Mysore. It also pioneered the 'integrated enclave' concept in Bangalore, a decade ago, with the much-appreciated Brigade Millennium and Brigade Gardenia enclaves. Following their success, Brigade is now developing two larger enclaves in Bangalore-Brigade Gateway (a lifestyle enclave in Malleswaram-Rajajinagar) and Brigade Metropolis (an integrated enclave on Whitefield Road). These enclaves will be self-contained neighbourhoods that will offer enriching facilities like luxury clubs, state-of-the-art office and retail spaces, schools and a hospital, all within easy reach. Thereby providing for a better quality of life.

Commercial & Retail spaces
In the domain of commercial space, Brigade is developing many world-class office and retail facilities. North Star at Brigade Gateway has been built to Grade A++ specifications. It will offer an excellent working environment with superlative features and facilities. Brigade TechPark and Brigade Summit are two examples of other well designed modern office facilities in Bangalore. Brigade Point at Mysore, will be Brigade's first commercial project in the city, and also the city's first office building managed and developed by a professional property developer.

The upcoming Orion Mall & Mutiplex at Brigade Gateway is set to become a landmark destination. Orion is designed as a lifestyle mall, featuring a range of beautifully designed facilities that will address the growing lifestyle needs of a vast segment of the population.

The Brigade Foundation
In keeping with its corporate philosophy of "for a better quality of life", Brigade has extended its reach into the domain of education and community development through the Brigade Foundation, a not-for-profit trust. The first school set up by the Foundation is located at Brigade Millennium, J.P. Nagar. In the near future, Brigade schools will be set up at Brigade Gateway, and near Brigade Metropolis.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Brigade has also initiated socially purposeful projects of different kinds. Like the construction of Brigade Millennium Road in J.P. Nagar, the renovation of the Yeshwantpur police station and the commissioning and installation of a statue of Swami Vivekananda at Ulsoor lake…to name just a few. The annual Young Achiever Award instituted by Brigade, in collaboration with Rotary Bangalore Midtown last year, has been established to recognise and encourage the significant achievements of young people in different areas of endeavour.

Future growth prospects
Looking back over the past years, Brigade has always emerged successfully through varied business cycles. It is now poised for unprecedented growth and diversity—in size and scale of projects; in range and nature of ventures; in professional associations and partnerships; in new areas and domains.
