EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

On March 10, 2015, the Physics teachers of the school attended a workshop at VITM, Bengaluru. It was conducted by Mr. Samar Kumar Bagchi - Former Director at the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata. He highlighted that facilitating the scientific temper in children was the need of the hour and that scientific spirit must be induced to Gen Y through hands-on learning. He exhibited to the teachers that science can be made lucid and interesting through various simplistic experiments using materials like candles, transparent glasses, thread rolls, straws, magnets etc.
