The Brigade Schools
Our schools provide the holistic, inspiring and empowering education you want your child to have. We invite you to explore our website www.brigadeschools.edu.in to select the school with the location that best suits your needs.
We have taken many initiatives as corporate citizens, in Bangalore and Mysuru.
Amongst the many cultural and artistic projects Brigade Group has had the privilege of supporting, none is of the magnitude of the Centre for Indian Music Experience or IME, India's first interactive music museum.
Art is an underlying aspect of Brigade's professional ethos. Art is everywhere: in city aesthetics, architecture, interiors, landscaping...

  • In India, festivals are a celebration of more than tradition, they\'re a celebration of culture and its many faces. An ode to its diversity. A way to preserve its rich heritage. A Salutation of its social harmony. A beating of its spiritual heart. While these occasions have been captured in many beautiful ways there\'s no better way to bring out the aesthetic of its joy than with artistic strokes that capture the spontaneous flair, and the very essence of these moments.

In this calendar, we pay tribute to several of these \'Temples of the Muses\' and the room for discovery and enlightenment that they enable. Our selection, limited by constraints of space and format, includes some of the museums rated as the best in the world. Each museum featured in the following pages is accompanied by a very brief description.

At Brigade Group, we have always believed in maintaining a sustainable balance between what is and what has to be. Which is why we factor the preservation of trees into the design of our projects. And plant and nurture trees in and around our project sites whenever possible.

  • After paintings, photographs, and sculptures, we directed our focus towards the building walls. A plain wall is canvas for the myriad palette of human imagination. Brigade projects have played host to an unique alchemy where the confluence of inspiration and creativity resulted in walls being crafted into murals by twelve talented hands. Renowned during the Renaissance period, murals were the end result of the artist’s efforts to blend perspective and architecture to create illusory effects.

Rajagopal is a photographer of original talent who has established his own standard in international photography; this is a rare and refreshing phenomenon in the context of an Indian artist practising in a modern medium. Rajagopal has in fact created his own genre known as the “line of light” photography. In this calendar, photographs by Rajagopal portray the placid and pastoral Bangalore of the ‘40s and ‘50s

  • The sculptors are done by six renowned sculptors of Karnataka. The sculptures are made of stone, wood and bronze respectively. Three of the sculptures are traditional and their artistic heritage dates back several centuries. The other three belong to contemporary school: one is abstract form, indefinable, but imbued with deep sensitivity; the second conveys a powerful social message; while the third is endearingly simple and whimsical. Each evokes its own dialogue with the viewer.

"At Brigade School, our son has been blessed to have some very approachable and warm teachers all these years that to this day, learning has not been a chore or burden for him. We appreciate it that on occasions when his marks dip, the teachers have nudged him to do better, gently reminding him and us, that he has the potential to do better, without undue pressure."
- Ashok Thampy and Asha Thampy (Parents of Joshua, Std Fifth)
"We have recently returned from the US and our younger daughter's first experience of formal schooling is at The Brigade School. She enjoys going to school and returns home with a smile on her face and lots of stories about her teacher and her classmates. We are very pleased with all the care and the attention offered by her teachers to make her feel happy in school."
- Jayashree Krishnan (Mother of Maya Krishnan, LKG)
"It has been almost 18 months since we moved from the US to India. One of our main concerns was to find a nice school to help our only daughter Apoorva to transition into a good school that she will cherish to grow up learning with. We are particularly happy to confess that as parents, we take pride to partner with The Brigade School and confirm that it is certainly helping by being Apoorva's second home for learning."
- Arathi and Murali (Parents of Apoorva Krishnan, class VII)
"Our son has been a member of the Brigade family for two years and we are very happy to say that the principal and the faculty at the school pay individual attention to identify and develop the potential of the child. We have seen our son grow as an all-rounder, a complete and confident person ready to face the real life challenges."
- Ratan Hastu, (Father of Kshitij Hastu, Class X)
"My children joined The Brigade School this year. My daughter is in Class XI and my son is in VI. I am delighted with the way this school really listens to the young students. It is a school that encourages a student to be responsible for their own learning, and helps plan out their studies and liaise with parents and tutors. Great communication and support is available at this school, easy access via email or phone to tutors and principal. I like the praise system of points and the simple system that tells you what is not acceptable behaviour. Regular term reports and honour cards that allow for good attitude, attendance and work. Then the chance to discuss with the tutor any problems or issues regarding the students. All in all it is a well balanced school that thrives on the student being treated as an individual and allowed to grow and being treated as a young adult. Well done Brigade School, my children love studying in Brigade!"
